Job Summary:

The Director of Sales and Business Development will work to develop and grow sales and relationships to achieve our company goals. Leading teams strategically through project management to ensure timely product development and placement in our customers to drive sales growth and profitability, while bringing on new customers are the primary focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for sales and gross profit plans in the division.
  • Identify and target new, profitable business.
  • Maintain current business and expand organically into new markets.
  • Prepare and deliver effective proposals to customers.
  • Increase overall sales by expanding active customers into other categories.
  • Troubleshoot any customer problems or challenges that may arise.
  • Work in a team environment and identify strategies/provide feedback to grow overall company sales.
  • Report ongoing activities on a daily/weekly basis to Manager and via the CRM.
  • Develop THK CRM Process.
  • Organically grow existing business.
  • Assist/Develop marketing materials.
  • Assist/Develop in product development.
  • Trade Show/Planning Execution.
  • Assure execution of department goals and maintain accountability.
  • Provide solid Customer Relationship Management.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
  • Work to support sales KPIs while growing the business.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership and skill leading major projects.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Honest and ethical.
  • Strong knowledge of fresh foods for foodservice and retail businesses.
  • Effective communication skills to negotiate with a variety of customers.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Positive and outgoing personality.
  • Well organized person with a high degree of integrity.
