Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Umbra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent acquisition and onboarding, with a proven track record of success in managing various HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify job specifications and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating offer negotiations.
    • Utilize various sourcing methods to build and maintain a talent pipeline.
  • Onboarding:
    • Coordinate pre-boarding activities, including document collection, IT setup, and benefits enrollment.
    • Act as the main point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the onboarding process.
    • Maintain accurate records of onboarding activities and new hire information in HR systems.
  • General HR Support:
    • Assist with benefits administration and provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, and support HR initiatives to enhance the employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition and onboarding.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
