Position Summary

The Senior Human Resources Specialist will play a vital role in advancing the talent strategy at Endologix. This position encompasses the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding. It is a dynamic role that adapts to the evolving needs of our workforce, covering aspects such as the hiring process, onboarding, employee wellness, benefits administration, and the enforcement of HR policies and procedures. Additionally, this role will collaborate with management and staff to provide insights on performance management, talent development, workforce planning, and ongoing strategic initiatives. The Senior HR Specialist is dedicated to enhancing the employee experience at Endologix.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance HR processes through project execution, research, and data analysis.
  • Manage employee lifecycle transitions, including hiring, relocations, promotions, and terminations, ensuring accurate documentation and data entry.
  • Support HRIS management and maintain data integrity to maximize system efficiency.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, offer letters, and pre-employment procedures.
  • Oversee the onboarding and orientation of new employees, facilitating a seamless integration into the company.
  • Administer leave processes, including FMLA and ADA accommodations, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on initiatives aimed at employee engagement and professional development.
  • Support managers in developing and revising job descriptions in line with organizational standards.
  • Work alongside HR leadership to address employee relations matters and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Provide assistance and information to employees regarding HR-related inquiries.
  • Manage the workers' compensation claims process, coordinating with employees, management, and claims providers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state HR regulations while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Organize and monitor training programs, including compliance training.
  • Assist with the annual review process and support performance management and succession planning.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including health, dental, and retirement plans.
  • Process vendor invoices and conduct monthly reconciliations.
  • Facilitate open enrollment and address employee concerns regarding coverage.
  • Coordinate with other departments to effectively implement HR initiatives.
  • Contribute to financial, quality, and regulatory audits.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or a minimum of six years of HR generalist experience.

Experience:

  • A minimum of four years of experience in Human Resources, ideally in a generalist role.
  • Strong preference for candidates with California HR expertise.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems, particularly UKG and iCIMS, is highly desirable.

Location: Hybrid work model with flexibility for remote work and occasional travel as needed.
