Job Title: Senior Philanthropy Officer

College Success Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Philanthropy Officer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for raising major philanthropic gifts to support our mission of providing college scholarships to students from low-income families in Washington State.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of individual and corporate donors to secure annual goals
  • Personally solicit and steward donors, conducting regular meetings and arranging donor/CSF leadership meetings as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of pledged gifts and donor contacts in SalesForce
  • Plan and facilitate donor/scholar meetings and interactions
  • Supervise Major Gift Officer and lead major gift strategy and execution
  • Regularly interact with L1000 scholars to maintain donor relationships
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential scholarship donors
  • Represent CSF at networking events to expand our donor base
  • Work closely with the Director of Development to cultivate and steward donors
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5-7 years of progressively responsible fundraising experience with a minimum 5 years of demonstrated success in donor cultivation, tracking, and major gift solicitation
  • Proven ability to interact with and influence philanthropic leaders
  • Ability to set goals strategically and oversee execution
  • High level of discretion and ethical approach to fundraising
