As the Regional Sales Executive for Surgical Solutions, you will be tasked with achieving or surpassing sales targets for our Surgical Solutions product line. This includes advanced products designed for surgical pain management. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals and decision-makers in various medical settings, including hospitals and outpatient surgical centers. This role requires significant travel, with up to 50% of your time spent in the field.

The ideal candidate will leverage analytical skills and product expertise to cultivate and sustain relationships with surgical teams in designated regions. You will possess excellent communication abilities, a strong drive for success, and a proven track record of consistently outperforming sales goals. Active engagement with current and prospective clients will be essential, utilizing CRM tools and data analytics to expand your territory and deliver exceptional value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture relationships with surgeons, clinicians, and key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
  • Provide on-site support during surgical procedures to address product inquiries in real-time.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities while safeguarding existing market share.
  • Maintain a strong field presence, dedicating at least 4.5 days per week to client interactions.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager on strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Analyze market positioning and conduct product training to address customer needs.
  • Manage contracts and engage in local pricing negotiations.
  • Exhibit comprehensive clinical knowledge and effective sales strategies in the medical device sector.
Your Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of four years of successful sales experience, with at least two years in medical sales targeting surgical professionals.
  • Experience in an operating room environment.
  • Familiarity with the hospital and ASC procurement processes, including GPOs and distributors.
  • Understanding of healthcare reimbursement models, including fee-for-service and value-based care.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to challenge conventional practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.
  • Proficiency in PC applications (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Deep understanding of medical terminology and clinical practices.
  • Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Ability to lead amidst uncertainty.
  • Persistence in achieving long-term goals despite challenges.
Preferred:
  • Experience in B2B sales.
  • Background in surgical case management.
  • Familiarity with musculoskeletal products (Orthopedics, Spine, Trauma, Sports Medicine).
  • Proven success in managing large territories and individual sales targets.
  • Demonstrated capability in market development and growth.
