Position Overview
This role involves providing comprehensive program oversight and delegated authority for project decision-making within established project objectives and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct all technical and managerial tasks for assigned projects.
  • Ensure that all work is thoroughly reviewed and aligns with requirements and policies while meeting customer expectations.
  • Act as a key advisor to diverse acquisition multi-functional teams engaged in complex projects.
  • Review, analyze, and assess project development, progress, and performance metrics.
  • Manage requirements and design trade-offs, as well as evaluate risks associated with acquisition activities for the assigned program.
  • Identify and justify resource needs for the life-cycle management of the assigned program.

Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be deemed suitable for federal employment.
  • Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
  • New hires will be required to pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
  • Must be willing to accept a supervisory role.
  • This position may require travel to various locations, including remote or isolated sites.
  • Completion of ethics orientation within three months of appointment is required.
  • Must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position.
  • Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area is required within established timeframes.
  • Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to starting the role.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is mandatory.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include:
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating project development and performance.
  • Providing program guidance and making project decisions.
  • Developing program objectives and policies.

This position is part of the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled through this announcement. Relocation incentives may be authorized according to applicable regulations. Eligibility for benefits depends on the type of position held.
