Position Overview: We are seeking a Head of Strategic Partnerships to join our expanding Business Development team. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the growth trajectory of our company alongside a seasoned team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding Relay's expansion into new strategic segments and nurturing our most critical customer relationships. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive scalable revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead revenue growth initiatives with strategic prospects and clients through proactive engagement with Fortune 500 companies.
  • Identify and refine criteria for targeted partnerships that represent significant revenue opportunities.
  • Structure and finalize proof of concepts with clients, collaborating with internal Product and Customer Success teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Develop and present comprehensive business plans that align with account priorities and address key business challenges.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and insights for strategic business opportunities.
  • Create tailored proposals for customers and negotiate contractual agreements.
  • Articulate specific value propositions around Relay's products for strategic partners.
  • Establish and maintain long-term executive relationships with key prospects and accounts.
  • Conduct initial product demonstrations and offer support to prospective clients.
  • Deliver timely and insightful feedback to other corporate functions.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and effectively position our solutions against competitors.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in a revenue-generating or growth-focused role, particularly within the manufacturing, warehousing, or healthcare sectors.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex external organizations to drive business opportunities.
  • Strong relational skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as required.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the startup environment.
