Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of a prominent third-party logistics firm, this role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding market presence.

The organization excels in providing comprehensive logistics solutions, including design, implementation, and operational management across contract logistics and transportation sectors.

Services encompass full-service warehousing, distribution, multichannel fulfillment, transportation, and intermodal drayage.

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will oversee the entire sales cycle, which includes prospecting, lead generation, pricing strategies, and finalizing contracts across the complete range of services offered.

This role requires leveraging unique capabilities to illustrate the value proposition to potential clients. Proficiency in analyzing data, crafting presentations, and collaborating with customer service teams is essential, along with managing the onboarding process post-sale.

The Vice President will dedicate significant time to engaging with both prospective and existing clients to broaden the business footprint.

The primary objective is to enhance revenue streams and optimize profitability.

Required Qualifications:
Experience in warehousing and distribution, cross-docking, and value-added services (7+ years)
Proven track record in selling to companies with multimodal logistics requirements within the U.S., including forwarding, drayage, transloading, and bonded services.
Expertise in complex sales processes, identifying client challenges, and delivering tailored solutions
Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and fostering strategic alliances
Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to address and resolve objections
Willingness to travel extensively - approximately 50% of the time, including overnight trips
Experience managing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer development, profitability, and market penetration

Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree
