In the role of Vice President, Leasing, you will lead revenue generation efforts, initiate value creation strategies, and strengthen client relationships across a diverse asset portfolio in pivotal regional submarkets. We seek a highly experienced professional with 7-10+ years of proven success in Leasing, Strategy, and Investment/Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert Deal Making: Demonstrate exceptional skills in commercial lease negotiations, particularly attuned to the intricate dynamics of Southern California's industrial real estate sector.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a team of leasing professionals, establishing ambitious objectives, providing continuous support, and fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders to enhance productivity.
  • Broker Engagement: Cultivate broker relationships to effectively lease available spaces, evaluating potential tenants' business viability to ensure long-term operational success.
  • Strategic Renewals: Oversee lease renewals personally, nurturing strategic alliances with clients and brokerage firms to maintain ongoing tenancy.
  • Strategic Marketing: Formulate and implement strategic marketing initiatives to leverage leasing and value creation opportunities, ensuring optimal visibility for our properties.
  • Document Management: Proficiently draft and review various lease-related documents, including letters of intent, leases, work letters, and broker agreements, ensuring legal compliance and maximizing value for Rexford.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to remain informed on market rents, competitor offerings, emerging trends, and recent transactions within Rexford's target markets.

  • Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical capabilities for executing lease-related calculations and interpreting net effective rent schedules, ensuring optimal outcomes for Rexford.
  • Industry Fluency: A comprehensive understanding of commercial/industrial lease terms and forms, along with a keen awareness of industry best practices and emerging trends.

Compensation

Rexford Industrial's total rewards program includes a comprehensive benefits package, eligibility for bonuses, and long-term stock incentives. The anticipated salary range for this position is $175,000 to $230,000, with a 60% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility. The actual base salary and total compensation offered will depend on various factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific skills, education level, certifications, and the job's location. The final base salary and total compensation will be detailed in any offer letter.
