Overview:
Job Summary


As a member of the Administration team, the office services clerk is responsible for a variety of tasks, including: managing shipping, mailing, sorting, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and packages; assisting departments with mailing and printing initiatives; supporting travel arrangements; and providing assistance to various departments and teams.

Delivering exceptional customer service is fundamental for the Administration team, which provides services throughout our organization.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:


Offer friendly and engaged service to both internal and external customers via telephone, email, and in-person interactions, focusing on developing and implementing effective solutions.


Receive and process a high volume of incoming, outgoing, and interoffice mail and packages using both manual and automated methods across multiple carriers, including packing, sorting, date-stamping, weighing, and adhering to special requests.

Develop and execute efficient and effective solutions for large or unique mailing projects.

Oversee supplies in copy rooms, mailrooms, and breakrooms.

Assist with company travel arrangements, including scheduling flights, hotels, and rental cars for employees traveling on behalf of the organization.

Create and manage user accounts on various shipping platforms.

Process print orders from all company locations, directing them to the appropriate printing source for completion.

Support special projects for various departments across the organization.

Provide coverage for reception and other departmental team members.

Perform additional duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:
Demonstrated effective time management to ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Exceptional customer service skills and resolution development.

Proven initiative and self-direction.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, and the ability to learn customized and specialized software.

Ability to:


Utilize excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, team members, vendors, customers, and the public.

Lift, stack, and maneuver packages and boxes weighing up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the day.

Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity for packaging, sorting, and distributing.

Stand for extended periods, walk, reach, push, and pull hand trucks, mail carts, and pallet jacks.

Bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.

Visually read and comprehend materials, labels, and instructions.

Conduct all tasks with integrity and maintain confidentiality.
