About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the team at InsideHigherEd as a Director, Career Development, Corporate Engagement, and Alumni Relations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs, activities, and services to support the career development of our students and alumni.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement career development programs, workshops, and events to meet the needs of our students and alumni.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners to provide career opportunities for our students and alumni.
  • Provide career counseling and coaching to students and alumni, including resume review, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to career development and corporate engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with alumni to provide career support and networking opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in career development and corporate engagement.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in a related field, such as higher education, career development, or business.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in career development, corporate engagement, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful career development programs and events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, alumni, corporate partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
