Hospitality Service Representative

Position Overview
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Uphold the commitment to exceptional service in all guest interactions, adhering to the established hospitality standards. Check-in guests, provide room keys, and share information regarding hotel amenities and room locations. Respond to phone inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Process all financial transactions accurately, including cash and credit card payments, while adhering to established protocols for posting charges, completing reports, and managing deposits. Ensure the security of financial transactions and sensitive guest information. Handle guest reservations for individuals and groups via phone or in-person requests; manage cancellations and updates, while promoting room upgrades to enhance revenue. Follow the seasonal reservation strategy as directed by management, focusing on room types and pricing based on length of stay. Foster a collaborative environment by communicating effectively with team members across shifts and departments. Oversee the shoppe and bar services, ensuring guests receive the highest quality of service and products in compliance with local regulations. Attend to special guest requests and ensure the delivery of exceptional service. Manage guest safe-deposit box operations. Adhere to all applicable health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Perform additional tasks as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS :
High School diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of one year of experience in a hotel or retail customer service environment is preferred. Background in the extended stay sector is advantageous. Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Basic mathematical skills, including budgeting and profit/loss analysis, are preferred. Skills in problem-solving, organization, and training are beneficial. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Opera systems is preferred. Certification in ServSafe may be required. A valid driver's license is necessary. Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting items up to 50 pounds. Availability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00-$, with variations based on experience and qualifications.
