Hospitality Service Representative

Position Overview
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Uphold the commitment to exceptional service in all guest interactions, adhering to the established hospitality standards. Facilitate guest check-in and check-out processes, issue room keys, and provide comprehensive information regarding hotel amenities and room locations. Respond to phone inquiries in a timely and courteous manner. Accurately handle all financial transactions, including cash and credit card processing, in line with company protocols, which includes posting charges, completing financial reports, preparing deposits, and securing assigned funds. Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial transactions and guest information. Manage guest reservations for individuals and groups, including processing cancellations and modifications, while promoting room upgrades to enhance revenue. Adhere to the seasonal reservation strategy as outlined by management, considering room types and pricing for varying lengths of stay. Foster a collaborative work environment by maintaining open communication and coordination with team members across shifts and departments. Oversee the service provided in the hotel shop and bar, ensuring guests receive high-quality products and service while complying with local regulations regarding alcohol sales. Attend to special guest requests to ensure exceptional service delivery. Manage guest safe-deposit box operations, including issuance and control. Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations concerning health, safety, and alcohol service. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory. A minimum of one year of experience in the hospitality industry or customer service is preferred. Experience in extended stay hospitality is advantageous. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Basic mathematical skills, including budgeting and understanding profit/loss concepts, are preferred. Skills in problem-solving, organization, and training are beneficial. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and property management systems is preferred. Candidates may be required to obtain ServSafe and TIPS certifications. A valid driver's license is necessary. Physical requirements include frequent standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving throughout the facility. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for extended periods. Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $15.00-$ per hour. Actual pay may vary based on relevant experience and qualifications.
