Position Overview:
The Hospitality Service Representative at Voco the Cadence plays a vital role in the hotel operations, dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring guests have a delightful and unforgettable stay. This role involves managing all guest interactions and inquiries, facilitating check-ins and check-outs, and providing comprehensive support to guests throughout their visit. The Hospitality Service Representative will collaborate closely with various hotel departments to guarantee smooth delivery of guest services.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position within the hospitality sector, offering a competitive salary range of $16 to $18 per hour. Employees will receive weekly pay and will be eligible for a variety of benefits, including healthcare, paid time off, and hotel discounts at IHG properties globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide a friendly reception upon their arrival.
  • Assist guests with the check-in and check-out procedures, including payment processing.
  • Respond to phone inquiries and address guest requests promptly.
  • Offer information regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Manage guest complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate processing of reservations and room assignments.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to fulfill guest requests and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Keep the front desk area and lobby organized and presentable at all times.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including familiarity with hotel reservation systems.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
