Overview

Chronos Consulting is a trusted advisor to leading organizations in the field of cloud storage. Our client, a fast-growing startup with over $100 million in VC funding, is seeking an experienced sales executive to develop an enterprise customer base on the West Coast for their award-winning cloud storage platform.

 

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned account executive with a strong technical background to join our team as a Senior Enterprise Storage Sales Executive. The ideal candidate would possess a balance of enterprise account management experience and territory/business development expertise. In this role, you will target and develop Fortune 1000 enterprise accounts in your region, source new accounts through partnerships, and manage relationships at all levels within targeted accounts.

 

Responsibilities

  • Target and develop Fortune 1000 enterprise accounts in your region
  • Source new accounts directly or through strategic alliance partners like IBM, HPE, and Dell EMC
  • Manage relationships at all levels within targeted accounts
  • Conduct solution presentations to customers and prospects
  • Forecast and report opportunities in a timely manner
  • BUILD TRUSTED CUSTOMER AND PARTNER RELATIONSHIPS by interacting with and visiting on a regular basis

 

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have approximately 10 years of experience in enterprise storage and/or software sales, be familiar with cloud storage and networking technologies, and possess thorough understanding of complex selling. Your selling background should emphasize overall ownership within your organization of the account to which you are selling. Ideally, you should have experience with both large and early-stage technology vendors. You must be able to drive deals from prospecting and pipeline development to closing (entire sales cycle) and foster long-term relationships.

 

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
