Opportunity for a Project Engineer – Elevate Engineering Support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Management: Oversee the preparation and management of project documentation, including requests for information, material submissions, and construction inquiries. Ensure the effective and safe use of materials through thorough review and problem-solving.
  • Design Support: Assist in technical design evaluations, ensuring adherence to relevant design policies and standards. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Site Oversight: Conduct regular site assessments, analyze architectural plans, and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project timelines, specifications, and safety protocols. Record findings and communicate them effectively.
  • Project Design Development: Create efficient designs for maintenance and repair projects. Generate technical drawings, specifications, and work statements as needed.
  • Construction Monitoring: Participate in site visits prior to solicitation, provide technical assessments, and oversee construction activities. Facilitate training for operational and maintenance procedures for upgraded systems.

  • Ensure accurate and timely project documentation.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of design documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
  • Perform site evaluations and develop cost-effective engineering solutions.
  • Manage project schedules and enforce safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with Federal, State, and Department of Defense engineering standards.
  • Strong skills in preparing and evaluating technical documentation.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and local safety regulations.
