Geotechnical Project Engineer

Our client, AEC Talent Acquisition, is seeking a proficient and innovative Geotechnical Engineer to contribute to their projects. This role involves collaboration with a team of engineers and scientists on a variety of geotechnical projects across the region. The position is dynamic and fast-paced, offering opportunities for professional growth and engagement with project leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and document intricate foundation and slope repair construction processes.
- Gather, interpret, and analyze field data and laboratory results.
- Draft geotechnical reports, design plans, cost estimates, and specifications.
- Assist in project management activities, including proposal development and budget management.
Qualifications:
- 0 - 3 years of experience with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering (preferably with a geotechnical focus).
- 0 - 3 years of experience with a master's degree in civil engineering (geotechnical specialization preferred).
- Successful completion of the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination or eligibility to take the exam within one year of employment.
- Field experience in subsurface evaluation (e.g., soil boring and test pit observations) is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail and a solid technical understanding are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
