Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate work sites for new construction and remodel projects, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with project goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and direct general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, and other specialists to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and manage estimates, budgets, timetables, and resources to ensure project success.
  • Identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues to minimize delays and costs.
  • Ensure adherence to legal regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists to coordinate project schedules and resources.
  • Attend regular project meetings and conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
  • Conduct quality assurance and safety inspections to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain and update project documents, including SOWs and preconstruction documents, to ensure contract obligations are met.
  • Respond to project disruptions, delays, and emergencies to ensure timely completion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on new construction and remodeling projects.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, technologies, and building codes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Knowledge of jobsite safety practices and ability to travel 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Associate Constructor (AC), and Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) designations.
  • Working knowledge of green building practices.
