Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and guiding junior engineers and CADD teammates, preparing calculations, layouts, estimates, and specifications, and developing an understanding of project budget, scope of services, project development, and project schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and guide junior engineers and CADD teammates, and develop an understanding of project budget, scope of services, project development, and project schedule.
  • Technical Skills: Prepare calculations, layouts, estimates, and specifications, and develop person-hour estimates and budgets.
  • Communication: Share best practices to improve performance and efficiency of self and team, and provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to develop entry-level and staff engineers, peers, and others as needed.
  • Client Management: Understand the client's organization, key people, and client expectations, and conduct site visits and participate in or lead meetings with clients/contractors.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in proposal efforts and development.

Requirements:

  • Education: BSCE Degree required, MSCE preferred.
  • Experience: 5 - 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Current PE in NH, MA, ME, or VT.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microstation, AutoCAD, HydroCAD, Civil 3D, ArcView, In Roads, WORD, Excel, and MS Project.
