Position Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional support and service. Your responsibilities will include managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and collaborating with various departments to resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings and sales initiatives.
  • Process and track customer orders while maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage customer communications and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Update customer information in the ERP system as required.
  • Prepare quotes for the sales team and assist in routing leads to appropriate team members.
  • Coordinate shipment schedules and provide freight estimates, ensuring compliance with shipping requirements.
  • Troubleshoot product-related issues using available resources and manuals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Escalate complex queries and concerns when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong focus on customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability for work quality and deadlines.
  • Team-oriented while also capable of working independently.
  • Effective prioritization and time management skills.
  • Adaptable to changing business needs and responsibilities.
  • Problem-solving skills that enhance the customer experience.
  • Interest or background in the manufacturing or related industries is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning new software quickly.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred: Associate's degree in business or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service is preferred.

Compensation

Hourly wage ranges from $20 to $25.
