About the Role

Gastro Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Relations Representative to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient experiences and delivering outstanding medical care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, as well as cancel or reschedule as needed.
  • Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Verify patient health plan benefits and obtain necessary authorizations.
  • Assist patients with questions and concerns regarding medical procedures and treatments.
  • Request medical records from healthcare providers and obtain lab results.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • A high school degree or equivalent is required.
  • One year of experience in customer service or a related clinical environment is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
  • Dependability, punctuality, and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Medical terminology knowledge and bilingual skills are a plus.
