Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and driven Controls Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation and control systems.

The successful candidate will take charge of designing, developing, and overseeing all facets of electrical control systems, machinery, and equipment.

You will engage in diverse projects, providing technical guidance and leadership. This is a full-time, permanent role with excellent benefits and opportunities for professional advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical control systems for machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all control systems, including schematics, manuals, and programming.
  • Troubleshoot and repair control systems as necessary, offering technical support to the maintenance team.
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers and team members to devise and implement innovative solutions for complex challenges.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests of control systems to verify their proper and safe operation.
  • Stay informed about the latest technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing our control systems.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and team members, sharing your expertise and insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Fanuc or similar control systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for troubleshooting complex systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, control systems, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to control systems, such as PLC and HMI.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the capability to produce and maintain accurate documentation.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with technological advancements and industry trends.
