Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and maintain the current testing environment within the laboratory.
  • Replace hardware and equipment as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee the laboratory operations, ensuring all systems are fully functional.
  • Engage with Cisco networking and power supply systems, including router and switch configuration.
  • Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and embedded systems engineers to carry out testing procedures.
  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and block drawings while adhering to safety standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical wiring circuits to identify issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Address challenges that may arise due to evolving testing requirements.
  • Complete all relevant testing and quality assurance documentation.
  • Be prepared for extended periods of standing and occasional overtime or weekend work.

Qualifications: (2-5 years of relevant experience)

  • Proficient understanding of PLC-based industrial control systems.
  • Familiarity with command line operations and Cisco networking.
  • Ability to configure hardware effectively.
  • Experience in wiring electrical systems.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Basic software proficiency.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in software testing.
  • Knowledge of using Putty for switch configuration.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Proficiency in using Visio for lab documentation.
  • General IT networking skills, including router and switch configuration.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology or equivalent experience.
