Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Architect to join our team at Softcom Systems Inc. as an Automation Lead. This is a full-time, onsite role in Milwaukee, WI, requiring 5 days of work from the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review the current state of test automation and identify areas for improvement.
  • Integrate tools like JIRA, Perfecto, and SAUCE Lab into the existing framework.
  • Develop an end-to-end automation workflow for each application service, from initiation to delivery.
  • Define a comprehensive automation strategy, including the types of automation testing required across various business layers and recommend suitable tools.
  • Establish targets for the automation roadmap and set team skills, framework, tools, and coverage.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline automation processes.
  • Identify opportunities for year-over-year productivity improvements and recommend strategies to reduce execution time.
  • Improve test estimation efforts and recommend best practices for automation.
  • Provide solution approaches for given problem statements and drive process improvements.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on test automation.
  • Proficiency in multiple automation tools, including JavaScript, Playwright, Mobile Automation, POSTMAN, Saucelab, and Java & Selenium.
  • Experience in Mainframe automation is a plus.
