The AI Solutions Architect is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive data science and machine learning solutions. This includes Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI, along with establishing lifecycle processes such as MLOps and AIOps.

This role entails overseeing the technical framework of AI systems, ensuring best practices for model training, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance are adhered to.

As a senior team member, the AI Solutions Architect will review the contributions of team members, facilitate essential functions like design and code reviews, and mentor colleagues to embrace best practices in AI solution development.


Key Responsibilities

Solution Design:
Develop comprehensive AI solutions that tackle specific business challenges across sectors such as Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Digital experiences. This includes selecting suitable algorithms, models, and technologies tailored to the problem statements.

Technical Leadership:

Provide expert guidance to AI Data Scientists, ensuring adherence to coding standards, industry-standard algorithms, and architectural principles.


System Architecture:

Define the overarching architecture of AI systems, encompassing data pipelines, model training, inference engines, and integration with existing IT frameworks.


Model Development:
Supervise the creation and optimization of machine learning models, ensuring they are high-performing, scalable, and interpretable.

Technology Evaluation:

Assess new AI technologies, tools, and frameworks to recommend the most appropriate options for specific use cases and project needs.


Collaboration:

Collaborate with Product Managers to determine suitable model architectures that address business needs and contribute to product roadmap development.

The Architect will also communicate effectively with product managers and stakeholders, simplifying complex modeling approaches for better understanding.


  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage closely with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, data scientists, data engineers, and software developers, to integrate AI capabilities into various applications and processes.

Generative AI Solution Design:

Leverage expertise in Generative AI frameworks to architect scalable, efficient, and high-performance AI solutions that utilize the latest advancements in the field.


  • MLOps and AI Operations

Operations Implementation:

Implement MLOps and AI Ops practices to streamline the machine learning and LLM lifecycle, including version control, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring for AI models.


Research & Development:

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and research breakthroughs to continuously enhance the performance and capabilities of AI solutions.


Performance and Cost Optimization:

Optimize AI models for speed, accuracy, and efficiency through techniques such as hyperparameter tuning, model compression, and deployment optimizations. Focus on delivering cost-effective solutions that are both scalable and reliable.


Security & Compliance:

Ensure that developed AI systems comply with data protection regulations, security protocols, and ethical standards in AI development and deployment, collaborating with relevant teams.

Skills/Requirements

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.

  • 8-10 years of experience in Statistics, Engineering, Machine Learning, or AI, with proven experience as an AI architect, data scientist, or machine learning engineer, particularly in Generative AI technologies and MLOps practices.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python/Pyspark, or Scala, and hands-on experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Generative AI-specific frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of MLOps concepts, including model versioning, automated pipelines, monitoring tools, and deployment strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Certifications in AI, machine learning, or Generative AI platforms are preferred.
