Position Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Role Overview:

This role involves overseeing the electrical design and modernization of crane control systems, specifically for electric overhead and portal cranes within the Americas region. The engineer will be responsible for all aspects of electrical design, including hardware selection, programming, and implementation of control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engineering designs for crane control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of electrical systems to guarantee operational efficiency.
  • Utilize established procedures for engineering tasks, including component selection and schematic design.
  • Create detailed system architecture and automation network diagrams.
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring design execution aligns with budgetary constraints from initial inquiry to project start-up.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in PLC programming.
  • Strong background in electrical design and schematic creation.
  • Experience in automation control programming.
