Insight Global is in search of a Manufacturing Process Specialist with a focus on product assembly. This role involves hands-on assembly of components to create fuses, contributing to a unique hand-crafted product. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to refine processes for enhanced efficiency. Proficiency in making design adjustments, including modifications to individual fixtures or layout alterations, using 2D CAD drafting software is essential.

Given the smaller scale of the facility, this position provides the opportunity to engage in various operational functions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance new manufacturing processes, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Conduct process capability studies to ensure manufacturing processes are controlled.
  • Offer technical support to maintain smooth operational processes.
  • Facilitate process training for production staff.
  • Provide process insights for new and redesigned products.
  • Collaborate with leadership to troubleshoot processes and equipment.
  • Ensure accuracy in product routing and timing.
  • Continuously improve production operations through Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Manage long-term capital improvement initiatives.
  • Support and refine processes within the facility.
  • Travel as necessary for project-related tasks.

Qualifications:
• Lean Manufacturing Experience (e.g., Green Belt/Black Belt)
• Design for Manufacturability Experience (DFM)
• Automation/PLC experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an Associate's Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in CAD modeling software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc. (primarily 2D, some 3D design)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
