Insight Global is in search of a dedicated Manufacturing Process Engineer with a focus on product assembly. This role involves hands-on work with components to create fuses, contributing to a smaller, dynamic team that offers significant opportunities for professional growth.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with refining existing processes to enhance efficiency. Proficiency in adjusting designs, including modifications to fixtures or layout alterations, utilizing 2D CAD drafting software is essential.

Given the compact nature of the facility, this position allows for involvement in various operational aspects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance new manufacturing processes, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Conduct process capability studies to ensure operational control.
  • Provide technical support to facilitate smooth process operations.
  • Assist in training production staff on processes.
  • Offer process insights for new and redesigned products.
  • Collaborate with leadership to troubleshoot equipment and processes.
  • Ensure accuracy in product routing and timing.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor through Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Manage long-term capital improvement projects.
  • Support and develop facility processes.
  • Travel as necessary for project-related tasks.

Qualifications:
- Lean Manufacturing Experience (e.g., Green Belt/Black Belt)
- Design for Manufacturability Experience (DFM)
- Automation/PLC experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an Associate's Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in CAD modeling software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc. (primarily 2D, some 3D design)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
