Product Assembly Process Specialist

The ideal candidate will be tasked with refining existing processes to enhance productivity.
The specialist should possess expertise in adjusting designs, including modifications to individual fixtures or layout alterations, utilizing 2D CAD drafting tools.
Given the smaller scale of the facility, this role provides the chance to engage in various operational aspects of the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance innovative manufacturing processes, tools, and fixtures
• Conduct process capability assessments to ensure operational control
• Offer technical support to ensure seamless process operations
• Facilitate process training for production staff
• Contribute process insights for new and redesigned products
• Collaborate with leadership to troubleshoot operational challenges
• Ensure accuracy in product routing and timing
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor through Lean Manufacturing principles
• Oversee long-term capital improvement initiatives
• Support and refine processes within the facility
• Travel as necessary for project requirements

Skills and Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an Associate’s Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in CAD modeling software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc. (primarily 2D, with some 3D design)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing (e.g., Green Belt/Black Belt)
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
• Familiarity with Automation/PLC systems.
