This is a critical position within Baxter's manufacturing operations, responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a maintenance team. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and lead a team of maintenance personnel to ensure the efficient operation of production equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize production capacity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and engineering, to resolve equipment issues and improve overall process efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GMPs, GDPs, and EHS guidelines.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and resources to achieve optimal results.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance procedures and training materials.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Requirements
  • AAS degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of industrial maintenance experience, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Proven leadership and technical skills, with the ability to interface effectively with other departments and teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems, including preventive maintenance and CMMS.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements, including GMPs, GDPs, and EHS guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
