Your Role

As a detail-oriented and systematic Information Security Analyst, you possess a comprehensive understanding of personnel security, information security, and physical security measures. Your background in conducting investigations, managing security clearances, and ensuring adherence to security regulations positions you as a vital contributor to our organization. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities enable you to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals while maintaining composure in demanding situations.
We Seek

An Information Security Analyst with a minimum of two years of relevant experience to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful history of overseeing personnel security clearances, performing investigations, and executing security protocols. Familiarity with military security procedures and systems such as DISS, NBIS, and APACS is highly advantageous.
Required Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in a security-related field
  • Thorough understanding of personnel security, information security, and physical security principles
  • Experience in conducting investigations and managing security clearances
  • Proficiency in security systems such as DISS, NBIS, and APACS (preferred)
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Expectations

In the first 30 days:
  • Complete onboarding and training
  • Become familiar with security systems and protocols
  • Shadow experienced personnel and assist with basic security functions
  • Establish relationships with team members and key personnel
In 60 days:
  • Independently manage personnel security clearances and conduct preliminary investigations
  • Process account requests and assist with communication security duties
  • Conduct security briefings
  • Actively engage in security team meetings and projects
In 90 days:
  • Efficiently handle a full workload of personnel security cases and investigations
  • Proactively address information security challenges and implement solutions
  • Serve as the primary contact for security matters
  • Take initiative in security projects and mentor junior team members
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Security Manager with various security program functions
  • Maintain access rosters and personnel security clearance files
  • Prepare documents for security clearance investigations
  • Validate personnel security clearances
  • Track and review clearance requests and periodic reinvestigations
  • Conduct preliminary investigations and provide recommendations
  • Prepare security clearance documents in accordance with regulations
  • Initiate background investigations
  • Schedule and conduct fingerprint appointments
  • Serve as the primary representative for security programs
  • Conduct security briefings on travel
  • Maintain statistics related to clearances
  • Process account requests and troubleshoot issues
  • Assist with communication security duties
  • Conduct various security briefings for personnel
  • Perform local record checks and process access clearance forms
  • Coordinate with overseas entities for travel clearances
  • Prepare travel packages for personnel
Additional Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship; dual citizenship is not permitted
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
