POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Business Analyst specializing in Information Systems will possess extensive experience at the enterprise level, providing support to application development teams and the mapping of clinical and claims data.
This role is crucial as the Senior Business Analyst will act as a catalyst for change within University Health System, guiding and mentoring Health Care Analysts.
The individual in this position will serve as the primary point of contact with essential business subject matter experts (SMEs), working closely with business leaders to enhance and optimize processes, define system requirements, and ultimately deliver automated solutions that meet business needs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management, Information Systems, Data Processing, Mathematics, or a related field is required. A minimum of eight years of experience in product management or product ownership roles is essential. Candidates must have at least five years of experience in the Health Care sector, specifically with Managed Care Organization claims and clinical data. A strong technical foundation and familiarity with SCRUM, Agile, and other development methodologies are necessary. Relevant certifications such as SAFe, PMI-ACP, or from Scrum Alliance are highly desirable. Proficiency in various system development lifecycles, including waterfall, RUP, and Agile methods, is expected. Candidates should also demonstrate proficiency with MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Visio). Experience with Jira (Atlassian) products and the Cognizant Product suite, including QNXT, Clinical Care Advance, and TCS, is advantageous.
