KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate a strong dedication to the protection of healthcare information.

  • Promote adherence to security policies and raise awareness across the organization.
  • Manage identity and access controls, along with conducting regular audits.
  • Lead initiatives for disaster recovery and continuity of operations.
  • Maintain expertise in applicable federal and state security regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or Risk Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in the field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CASP+, CRISC, or CISA are required.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements including HIPAA and HITRUST.
  • Proficient in threat detection, incident response, and proactive security measures.
  • Experience with enterprise logging solutions, particularly Splunk.
  • Competence in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategies.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Networking technologies.
  • Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), and Next-Generation Antivirus (NGAV).
  • Operating systems including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Expertise in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Vulnerability Assessment tools.
