The Role
As OwnBackup continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated Account Executive to actively pursue new business opportunities while advancing their career as a sales professional. In this target-driven position, you will convert leads into loyal customers by managing both incoming and outgoing prospects. Your goal will be to identify strategic opportunities with potential clients and cultivate them into long-term, profitable partnerships. You will be reaching out to organizations with a specific employee count to maximize your impact.

Your Daily Responsibilities
- Oversee prospects from initial contact to closing
- Develop and manage your Territory Plan for Commercial Accounts to identify and nurture new business opportunities while expanding existing relationships
- Analyze the decision-making framework of each prospect to enhance conversion rates at every stage
- Effectively communicate and showcase our value proposition, generating enthusiasm and interest among potential clients
- Maintain a quarterly sales forecast and close deals to achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
- Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Alliances, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to provide essential customer feedback that influences product development and enhances overall customer satisfaction
- Engage in our exceptional sales training programs, including a comprehensive Sales Bootcamp and advanced leadership development initiatives
Your Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role with quota responsibilities, ideally within the SaaS industry
- Prior experience in outbound prospecting is advantageous
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets (e.g., President's Club, Rep of the Year)
- Experience with consultative, value-driven selling and a history of exceeding sales quotas
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new business through outbound prospecting methods
- Familiarity with multi-product offerings
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ideally with startup experience
- Comfortable engaging with VP, C-Suite executives, and IT leaders, navigating through various decision-makers within an organization
- Highly analytical, data-oriented, and detail-focused
Key Information
This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of five days per week in the office. The ideal candidate will work to maximize collaboration and interaction with the team. Travel may be necessary.
