About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Partnerships and Premium Seating Coordinator to join our team at the Iowa Events Center. As a key member of our partnerships team, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales and partnership execution process, ensuring seamless execution of sponsorships, and maintaining and growing client relationships to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with annual Suite Holders, Loge Box Holders, Club Seat Holders, and Event Rental clients to increase revenue through ticket additions, food and beverage packages, and merchandise add-ons.
  • Sales Lead Management: Identify qualified sales leads and manage prospect lists through CRM input, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
  • Sponsorship Sales Support: Collaborate with the Director and Manager of Partnerships to design proposals, develop digital assets, and execute sponsorship deliverables, driving revenue growth and client satisfaction.
  • Marketing and Communications: Work closely with the marketing and communications team to develop and execute digital marketing sponsorship programs and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Event Execution: Coordinate and assist in the execution of Premium Seating and Sponsor Appreciation Events throughout the year, ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Sponsor Activation: Monitor activation schedules to fulfill sponsorship requirements for partners, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Contract Management: Organize and manage sponsorship contract and compliance forms for sponsors, ensuring timely submission and adherence to terms.
  • Sales Planning: Assist in the creation of strategic sales plans to achieve corporate sales revenue goals, driving revenue growth and client satisfaction.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research projects to identify potential new sponsors, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Client Entertainment: Conduct business during non-traditional hours, taking advantage of opportunities to interact with clients and prospects during games, events, and off-site gatherings.
  • Day-of-Event Responsibilities: Ensure seamless execution of sponsorship activation setup, coordination, entertaining clients, premium seating preparation, and fulfilling necessary sponsorship contract obligations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of sales or sales coordinator experience, preferably in the sports and entertainment or advertising and brand sales industries.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership of your role and improving those around you.
  • Industry Knowledge: Possess knowledge of the sport/event sponsorship sales and advertising industry.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills, with the ability to quickly establish personal relationships through trust, knowledge, and empathy.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Self-Starter: Demonstrate the ability to multitask, react well under pressure, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Integrity and Respect: Value integrity and respect for others, and possess a team player mentality with the ability to lead.
  • Technical Skills: Possess strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
