Role Overview

Position Summary

The Global Segment Marketing Manager is essential in managing marketing initiatives by connecting Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and the Commercial Organization. This role focuses on the Industrial Segment, driving growth for the core LGC Standard's Product Portfolio on a global scale, while also fostering market acceptance for strategic new product innovations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies for the industrial market segment grounded in a thorough understanding of customer requirements, competitor landscape, and proposing actionable initiatives.
  • Create compelling value propositions for the industrial segment and collaborate with Growth Marketing on various marketing efforts.
  • Partner with Product Management to outline roadmaps that support the Industrial Segment strategy.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Insights, and Commercial Operations to categorize customer accounts effectively.
  • Generate insights and work alongside Growth Marketing and Sales on targeted marketing and sales strategies.
  • Monitor global market dynamics and build relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Support critical new product development initiatives and contribute to projects that enhance commercial and product execution.
  • Facilitate the creation of materials and tools for effective sales into targeted applications.
  • Conduct customer intelligence research and assist Commercial in various initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • 6+ years of marketing or sales experience within the Life Science sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD preferred, MBA is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to network and cultivate strong relationships.
  • In-depth understanding of industrial workflows and cross-product integration.
  • Strong technical acumen and collaborative skills.
  • Capacity to work with product groups and regions on sales strategies.
