The Regional Sales Executive is crucial in driving revenue and profit expansion within their assigned region.
This role is vital for establishing and nurturing robust relationships with existing and potential dealers, professional landscaping contractors, distributors, and internal partners to meet or exceed sales goals for EGO, the leading brand in cordless outdoor power tools.
The Regional Sales Executive excels in converting leads, identifying new business prospects, and executing effective sales strategies.Key Responsibilities:
Meet or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
Identify and pursue new business avenues through cold-calling, networking, and lead generation.
Recruit and onboard new dealers in line with annual targets.
Deliver comprehensive training and ongoing sales support to dealers within the region.
Build long-lasting relationships with both new and existing accounts.
Work closely with dealers to enhance their business, including conducting product demonstrations, facilitating product line reviews, and providing training, sales, and service assistance.
Earn trust and respect from both internal and external stakeholders by consistently demonstrating integrity.
Support EGO brand marketing initiatives at the dealer level.
Attend national and regional company meetings as required.
Actively participate in industry events and trade shows to promote EGO products.
Provide valuable feedback to Chervon regarding product performance, market acceptance of marketing initiatives, and competitive insights.
Manage travel and time efficiently to maximize productivity while adhering to budget constraints.
Utilize CRM software effectively to maintain detailed records and manage customer relationships.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Territory Manager or in a similar capacity within a dealer environment; familiarity with outdoor power equipment is preferred.
Strong negotiation skills and a customer-focused approach.
Solid financial acumen and the ability to navigate complex business challenges independently.
A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
Travel
Requirements:
This position requires 60-70% travel within the region, including overnight stays.
Must be capable of driving a company vehicle and towing a company trailer as necessary.
Expected to work in various office and professional environments.
