About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is at the forefront of driving revenue and growth for a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to large enterprises, including public sector organizations. The AWS Global Support team believes that exceptional support is vital for customer success. We partner with a global network of clients who are developing mission-critical applications utilizing AWS services.

We are in search of a Senior Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) who will assist clients in achieving sustained business value by expediting their cloud transformation journey. The ideal candidate will guide clients in designing and implementing strategic migrations to the AWS cloud while developing modern, cloud-native solutions tailored to their business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and AWS account teams to establish a comprehensive vision and strategy for cloud transformation.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer engagement skills across all organizational levels, fostering long-term relationships built on excellence.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of emerging technologies related to cloud computing to unlock new opportunities for clients.
  • Leverage a strong background in change management to seamlessly integrate best practices into project delivery.
  • Facilitate customer adoption through education and enablement initiatives.
  • Work with clients to identify and prioritize high-impact use cases for AWS service adoption and implement best practices.
  • Efficiently manage time and engage necessary customer, AWS, and partner teams to accelerate the cloud journey.
  • Act as a thought leader within Amazon, sharing successful strategies, mentoring junior CSMs, and influencing industry trends.

A Day in the Life

In this role, you will drive the realization of business value, leveraging your technical expertise and attention to detail. Your strong problem-solving skills and exemplary communication abilities will be crucial at both the executive and project team levels. Your experience in enterprise cloud solutions and operational excellence will guide team decisions and provide valuable insights.

You will proactively identify and eliminate obstacles for the team while managing performance and results for the organization. Building trust-based, long-term strategic relationships with customer leaders and maintaining a deep understanding of existing and emerging cloud technologies will be essential.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience leading large-scale technical or engineering programs with a proven track record of thought leadership and successful program completion.
  • 4+ years of customer-facing experience, engaging with executives and technologists to solve business challenges using advanced technologies.
  • Experience leading both technical and non-technical transformation project teams across diverse functional areas.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects.
  • Familiarity with the Travel & Hospitality Industry.
  • Experience in a leadership role overseeing large technology-driven transformation initiatives, preferably with knowledge of AWS Services.
  • Proven history of problem-solving and innovation in technology programs.
  • Understanding of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).
  • AWS technical certification.
