Position Summary

The Cash Management Team at Campbell Soup Company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our ranks. This role is essential in supporting the company's Cash Management and Banking Services operations. The position involves executing daily cash management tasks, including monitoring cash positions, conducting commodity margin analyses, processing payments, and managing corporate payment operations. Additionally, the role entails liaising with banking services for both domestic and international locations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assess daily cash and liquidity positions to facilitate funding and investment decisions in alignment with established protocols.

2. Process domestic and international wire transfers, Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, and electronic fund transfers (EFT) using Treasury systems and various banking platforms, while resolving any discrepancies.

3. Conduct daily reconciliations of banking activities against Treasury systems and financial software, addressing any inconsistencies.

4. Oversee weekly intercompany cash transfers utilizing Treasury systems.

5. Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to address inquiries and enhance operational efficiencies.

6. Manage the administration of bank accounts, including opening, closing, and updating banking services.

7. Oversee user access and entitlements for online banking platforms, ensuring proper maintenance of account authorizations.

8. Administer Treasury systems, maintaining user accounts, banking details, and payment instructions.

9. Assist in the monthly analysis and reporting of banking fees, including resolving billing discrepancies.

10. Confirm foreign exchange transactions and ensure accuracy in Treasury systems, collaborating with the Treasury group to address any issues.

11. Manage the settlement of intercompany notes and the monthly netting process, ensuring accurate uploads and payment creations.

12. Execute monthly financial closing activities, including journal entries related to cash and banking, activity analysis, and reconciliations.

13. Support compliance initiatives, including SOX controls and audits, as well as regulatory requests from banking partners.

14. Participate in Cash Management projects, which may involve banking service evaluations, system upgrades, and regulatory changes.

15. Contribute to the cash forecasting process, enhancing data analysis and tools for improved accuracy.

16. Continuously seek opportunities to refine processes, mitigate risks, and enhance operational efficiency.

17. Undertake additional projects as required.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.

Experience:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, with strong accounting acumen.

Additional Skills:
  • Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong administrative skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP and Treasury systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capability to build productive relationships with financial institutions and service providers.
Work Environment:
Standard office setting with minimal travel requirements.
