Job Summary

The Senior Business Analyst will partner with the Human Resources and Legal departments to understand and document business needs. This role will perform Quality Assurance and lead User Acceptance Testing for both departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Process Development
    • Develop an understanding of business processes and define current and future state business models.
    • Build strong working relationships with the HR and Legal business teams.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Act as liaison for all QA aspects of releases, business cycles, and projects.
    • Provide QA services and coordinate QA resources internally and externally.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate with business partners, IT, and external Managed Service Providers or Vendors.
    • Act as a mentor to junior business analysts.
  • Risk Management and Process Improvement
    • Evaluate the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands.
    • Review and suggest ways to improve business processes.
  • Test Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
    • Create business requirements, functional design documents, and process flow diagrams.
  • Issue Management and Resolution
    • Responsible for issue management and resolution.
    • Coordinate project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs.
  • Relationship Management
    • Help manage ongoing relationships with business partners to drive satisfaction with IT.
    • Ensure that all items follow the Company's change management process.
  • Vendor Performance Management
    • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs.
  • Operational Quality
    • Ensure operational quality with enhancements, updates, and bug fixes.
    • Ability to train all end-users in system usage.
Requirements
  • IT domain experience in at least three of the following: Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure and Maintenance and Support.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 6-8 years of related experience.
Work Environment
  • Hybrid work environment - Remote work possible two days per week (after 90 days).
  • This position does not offer a work sponsorship.
