Job Description

The Director of Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for advancing Aramark's market position and value proposition at client accounts within a designated territory and portfolio. A successful candidate will provide analytical skills to identify and align with client goals, create customized solutions, and communicate the differential advantages of Aramark, resulting in long-term development and industry-leading client retention and growth rates.

The Director will manage a portfolio of accounts designated by the Vice President of Growth, with direct responsibility for account retention through comprehensive, client-facing strategies. Responsibilities include account diagnostics, relationship analysis, engagement planning and execution, annual account objectives development, formalized client communications, proposal development, client presentations, and contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify growth opportunities and retention risks through the application of the Performance Management Dashboard, Partnership Value Index, and Voice of the Customer.
  • Manage action and accountability through Annual Account Management Workshops.
  • Develop client and prospect engagement management through wiring and client mapping plans.
  • Communicate client value through Account Growth Plans, Strategic Update and Performance Reviews, and Client Business Reviews.
  • Drive Base Business and Vertical Growth by interfacing with clients regarding Proactive Innovation, Contract Pricing, and additional Lines of Service.
  • Ensure delivery of client expectations within contract portfolio.
Requirements
  • Effective use of deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviors of others, without formal authority.
  • Promote a spirit of cooperation within the business units and Aramark to best leverage capabilities and resources to serve client needs.
  • Possess a genuine desire and ability to understand the marketplace and changing needs of clients and respond accordingly with proactive solutions.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the broader market picture and apply it to make mutually beneficial business decisions in a mature service industry.
  • Ability to successfully build alliances and influence key decision makers.
  • Manage customer relationships through creative problem solving and customer savvy at the C-level of client organizations.
  • Operational acumen and savvy, including dining, facility, and conference services technical understanding and proforma development.
  • Ability to identify and apply quantifiable client-centered performance metrics and operational results to existing and proposed services.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills.

This is a remote work from home opportunity with up to 70% travel. It is preferred that candidates be located near a major airport.
