Position Overview:

The Texas Lottery Commission is seeking a dedicated Multimedia Communications Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing advanced informational and communications tasks that are critical to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce diverse content for various communication channels including news, print, digital, and social media.
  • Collaborate with team members to create engaging multimedia projects and campaigns.
  • Manage the creation of written, video, and photographic content for digital platforms.
  • Provide technical support for virtual and in-person meetings and events.
  • Analyze the performance of digital content and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain a digital asset library for easy access to multimedia content.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a degree from an accredited institution along with relevant experience in multimedia content creation, public relations, or journalism. Proficiency in video production and editing, as well as graphic design, is essential.

Skills and Abilities:

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, time management abilities, and a capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with various software tools for video editing and graphic design is required.

Work Environment:

This position may require working irregular hours and occasional travel. The Texas Lottery Commission values teamwork and excellence in service delivery.
