Overview:

Verdtek Inc, a vibrant media and training organization, is in search of a skilled and versatile professional for a short-term contract role focused on the development of educational materials for users engaging with a new software application. This position is essential for producing resources such as video tutorials that illustrate the software's features, visual user guides with clear instructions, and practical job aids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality instructional content utilizing screen recording and editing tools like Camtasia, Snagit, or Adobe After Effects.
  • Collaborate with the content development team to create comprehensive instructional materials efficiently.
  • Document functional content for engaging user guides using Microsoft Word.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and receive feedback.
  • Capture screenshots and create step-by-step guides for training documentation.
  • Edit video content, integrating narration and visual elements effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Windows 10 and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with video production software, including Adobe Premiere and Camtasia.
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for project involvement.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • A degree or certification in Art/Design or relevant experience in a communications role.
  • Experience collaborating with software developers and data analysts.
  • Exposure to government projects and CRM solutions like Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Contract Details:

This position is a minimum two-month contract with the potential for extension based on project needs.
