Position: Radiation Protection Specialist 3

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified individual with a Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Management, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in the field of Radiation Protection. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of twelve (12) years of direct field experience, demonstrating expertise in this specialized area.

This role involves managing daily responsibilities essential for the ongoing support of design, construction, startup, and/or operational maintenance activities associated with complex, high-technology systems or projects. The successful candidate will provide expert insights on Radiation Protection and technical matters, offering recommendations to project design and construction teams based on their specialized knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting independent reviews and assessments in areas of specialized expertise.
  • Guiding project teams to achieve successful outcomes on complex, high-technology initiatives.
  • Collaborating with management personnel and customer representatives to ensure project alignment.
  • Establishing and enforcing work standards, managing schedules, and reviewing work quality.
  • Communicating organizational goals, objectives, and policies to team members.
  • Providing leadership to the project team and coordinating with functional organizations.
  • Supervising senior personnel within the project organization.
