About This Position

Assist store management in achieving sales objectives and targets by enhancing sales performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring effective store operations.

Responsible for engaging in all necessary activities to meet store goals, including sales performance, customer service achievements, operational compliance, merchandise presentation, and successful inventory management.

Drive operational efficiencies while enhancing overall customer satisfaction.

Sales / Service
Support management in initiatives related to product knowledge and sales techniques for team members.
Identify challenges, develop action plans, and explore opportunities to expand the business and elevate customer satisfaction.
Encourage and cultivate a customer-centric atmosphere that guarantees superior service.

Facilitate customer relations by interacting with customers, ensuring their needs are addressed, transitioning interactions to sales associates, and providing general support to the sales team.

Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers by addressing and resolving issues, soliciting feedback, and fulfilling customer requests.

Offer coaching on sales, product knowledge, and customer service training to maintain the highest standards of customer engagement and sales.

Deliver outstanding customer service experiences by embodying company values, presenting product and service offerings, and sharing knowledge to provide exceptional care to customers.

Oversee floor management to ensure store associates provide an extraordinary customer service experience, build relationships, and achieve service and sales objectives.

Operations
Execute all operational tasks in accordance with company standards, including but not limited to:
Working under the guidance of the Store Manager to:
Manage scheduling for frontline sales personnel.
Ensure training goals are met for newly hired team members.

Provide expertise on all store functions, including products, pricing strategies, promotions, and service features, as well as those of competitors.

Offer feedback on operational needs to facilitate continuous improvement and support associate training in operational areas.

Assist in implementing and maintaining store processes to operate efficiently and effectively while identifying opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with store leadership to ensure timely and accurate completion of all merchandising and operational directives.
Adhere to all policies and procedures with a focus on loss prevention and operational excellence.
Support visual merchandising initiatives within the store and uphold visual standards and brand expectations.
Engage with other business functions in various retail store projects and initiatives.

Assist with operational responsibilities, including scheduling, training objectives, cash management, shrink reduction, inventory monitoring, and store maintenance.

General
Comply with company policies and procedures and participate in required training.
Keep management informed regarding all aspects of sales, store traffic, customer experiences/feedback, and associate training/performance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with fellow store associates to foster a culture of success.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Two or more years of progressive experience in sales and/or retail operations.

Strong time management skills, including the ability to organize and prioritize tasks while meeting deadlines for multiple projects with varying completion dates.

Experience in leading sales and operations in a retail environment.
Flexibility to perform various tasks based on daily business needs.

Ability to build effective partnerships across all organizational areas by demonstrating excellent interpersonal leadership, influencing, and presentation skills.

Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to communicate with associates and customers in person, over the phone, and through written communication in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows-based systems/applications.
Willingness to work a varied schedule, including regular nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to travel to other locations as needed or directed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Experience in the wireless or telecommunications sector.
Familiarity with computerized pricing and inventory control systems.
Knowledge of various mobile software applications and operating systems (Android, Apple).
Experience in store operations to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement and recommend solutions.
Proven success in leading and empowering others to excel in a goal-oriented and incentive-based work environment.
Experience in providing training and guidance to peers.
