POSITION OVERVIEW:

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a similar discipline (Master's degree is highly desirable).
  • A robust professional network within the healthcare sector and mental health community.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in crafting and directing organizational strategy and engagement initiatives within the healthcare domain, with a strong emphasis on data-driven strategic development and business growth activities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare and community mental health issues, policies, and practices, alongside experience with healthcare-specific compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Acute awareness of the shifting competitive landscape and its implications for operations, finance, and strategy.
  • Exceptional presentation and group facilitation capabilities, with a proven history of effectively engaging stakeholders in meaningful dialogue to foster trust, understanding, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Outstanding writing and editing proficiency, capable of producing complex documents and communications, including message platforms, white papers, thought leadership articles, and internal newsletters.
  • A solid grasp of the key priorities and concerns relevant to community mental health stakeholders, including clients, family members, board members, senior leaders, clinicians, and industry peers.
  • Advanced skills in presentation software, graphic design principles, and the ability to create compelling slide decks that enhance storytelling and audience engagement, as well as the capacity to simplify complex data through visually appealing charts and infographics.
Role Summary:

We are in search of a visionary and dynamic Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives to become an integral part of our leadership team. The selected candidate will be pivotal in steering the future trajectory of our organization by:
  • Collaborating with the Chief Marketing Officer to establish and implement a comprehensive and inclusive strategic planning approach that considers industry changes alongside Centerstone's unique strengths and opportunities.
  • Facilitating an industry-leading level of collaboration and two-way communication among our diverse stakeholder groups to inform and advance our enterprise strategy and various initiatives.
  • Driving progress on key priorities and initiatives, providing strategic guidance and support to business unit leaders to ensure the successful execution of their objectives and timely completion of deliverables.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Lead and develop designated segments of Centerstone's strategic planning process, aligning both short-term and long-term objectives with our mission and vision. Work closely with executive leadership to enhance Centerstone's competitive positioning through collaboration, growth identification, innovation, and achievement of strategic goals.
  • Communication Strategy: Collaborate with the broader Marketing & Communications leadership team to foster a comprehensive communication strategy that elevates the organization's reputation, engages stakeholders, and reinforces our desired culture while advancing key priorities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including enterprise and business unit leaders, clients, family members, clinicians, community leaders, and regulators) by ensuring effective communication and engagement.
  • Change Management: Provide leadership and support for change management initiatives, aligning them with strategic goals and nurturing a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Strategic Partnership Support: Assist Executive Leadership and key growth team leaders in securing and nurturing strategic partnerships that enhance our mission and strategic objectives, positioning Centerstone for continued leadership and innovation.
  • Performance Evaluation: Collaborate with key areas to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of strategic initiatives and communication efforts, continuously monitoring and refining strategies based on performance data.
  • Brand Mission, Culture & Reputation: Work with Executive Leadership and other key leaders to ensure that Centerstone's brand and culture are consistently represented in all strategic planning and communication activities.

Compensation Range: $119,800.00 - $179,720.00
