POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the strategic guidance of Pathway Lending and the general oversight of the Senior Vice President of Lending, this role provides essential support in various administrative functions. The Vice President of Lending for Middle Tennessee is tasked with driving growth and enhancing productivity within the assigned market. This position is also pivotal in assisting Pathway Lending in achieving its annual loan production targets.
SUPERVISORY ROLE: Yes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates with the Senior Vice President of Lending to formulate strategies aimed at boosting lending, sets anticipated annual production targets, and continuously evaluates overall performance.
- Enhances Pathway Lending's presence in the target market through a structured outreach initiative, focusing on establishing a referral network with financial institutions for loan applications.
- Engages with clients to gather necessary documentation for loan applications prior to submission for credit evaluation.
- Maintains a strong working relationship with internal partners and collaborates with the Senior Vice President of Education to assess the type and extent of technical assistance required by clients.
- Participates in various industry events and conferences throughout the year to elevate Pathway Lending's profile in the respective market.
- Conducts regular follow-ups with existing clients to ensure satisfaction with services rendered and to identify potential new business opportunities.
- Assesses the initial creditworthiness of applicants in conjunction with the Senior Vice President of Lending, evaluating the client's business operations and potential for growth.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:

- Exceptional customer service skills when interacting with clients, partners, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Adobe, with the ability to navigate various computer systems and applications.
- Familiarity with small business and commercial loan documentation, along with strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage with all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed business objectives while fostering a collaborative team environment.
