Gourmet Sales Specialist

Lettieri & Co. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Gourmet Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing sales of imported specialty food in the San Francisco Bay area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell company-authorized products in required volumes to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Perform customer needs analysis, develop solutions, discuss product offerings, create proposals, and negotiate with customers.
- Prospect and ensure the proper level of activity to generate sales results.
- Identify, qualify, and visit prospects and customers in the assigned area.
- Maintain existing customer accounts and generate new business.
- Participate in product and sales-related training.
- Keep current on product knowledge and selling process.
- Produce accurate and timely forecasts as required by management.
- Display a positive, professional, and business-like behavior at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and work processes throughout the selling process.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years related sales and industry experience.
- Knowledge of specialty food products and industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Residency in the SF Bay Area.
- Italian language proficiency is a plus.
