Job Overview

Lettieri & Co. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Gourmet Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing sales of imported specialty food in the San Francisco Bay area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell company-authorized products in required volumes to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Perform customer needs analysis, develop solutions, discuss product offerings, create proposals, and negotiate with customers.
  • Prospect and ensure the proper level of activity to generate sales results.
  • Identify, qualify, and visit prospects and customers in the assigned area.
  • Maintain existing customer accounts and generate new business.
  • Participate in product and sales-related training.
  • Keep current on product knowledge and selling process.
  • Produce accurate and timely forecasts as required by management.
  • Display a positive, professional, and business-like behavior at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and work processes throughout the selling process.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years related sales and industry experience.
  • Knowledge of specialty food products and industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Residency in the SF Bay Area.
  • Italian language proficiency is a plus.
