Job Summary

At Summit Orthopedics, we value the contributions of each team member as they impact our patients and colleagues every day. We are seeking a skilled Clinic Patient Registration Specialist to provide exceptional patient access and support services in our patient-first environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Register and schedule patients efficiently and accurately, collecting necessary medical and demographic information, and ensuring compliance with insurance and scheduling protocols.
  • Administrative Support: Prepare patient charts, distribute mail and faxes, and manage patient pick-up items, including records and medical imaging CDs.
  • Communication and Coordination: Communicate with teams and providers to provide a seamless patient experience, and coordinate interpreters and QRCs as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, teams, providers, and staff, being attentive, respectful, and helpful.
Requirements
  • Medical reception or scheduling experience desired.
  • Flexibility to float to other Summit locations as needed.
