Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Behavioral Health Program Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our clinicians, behavioral health staff, patients, and families to identify necessary services for the overall wellness of patients being treated by our clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work cohesively with LISH clinicians, BH staff, patients, and families to identify necessary services for the overall wellness of patients being treated by LISH clinicians.
  • Provide administrative and non-clinical support for the Behavioral Health Department, including obtaining health records, documenting patient-related activities, and generating reports.
  • Obtain and track prior authorizations, as necessary.
  • Provide backup and support to BH Schedulers, as needed, including coordinating services and care, scheduling appointments, and confirming patient appointments.
  • Support LISH through logging general BHI activities and minutes spent in enrolled patient records for the purposes of meeting monthly care coordination requirements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
